Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the CREW mobile application and related services (collectively, "CREW" or the "Service"). By accessing or using CREW, you agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use CREW.

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes through the app. Continued use after the effective date of any update constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

2. Eligibility

• You must be at least 18 years old to use CREW.
• You must be a human individual — no bots, scripts, or automated accounts.
• You must have the legal authority to enter into a binding agreement.
• You may not use CREW if you have previously been banned from the platform.
• You must provide a valid phone number that belongs to you.

3. Your Account

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account and for all activity that occurs under it. Because CREW uses phone number authentication, you should never share your one-time verification codes with anyone.

You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information when creating your profile. Impersonating another person, real or fictional, is strictly prohibited.

4. The Vouch System

CREW's core feature is the vouch — a written endorsement from a friend who knows you. By participating in the vouch system, you agree that:

• All vouches must be genuine. You may not write a vouch for someone you don't actually know, pay for vouches, or create fake accounts to vouch for yourself.
• Vouches must be honest. Writing a materially false or misleading vouch for another user violates these Terms.
• Vouches are public on CREW. When you write a vouch, your name and vouch text will be visible to all CREW users who view that person's profile. Write accordingly.
• Vouches cannot be retracted from profiles once submitted, though you may contact us to request removal in extenuating circumstances.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use CREW to:

• Harass, threaten, intimidate, or harm any other user
• Send unsolicited commercial messages or spam
• Share sexual content involving minors under any circumstances
• Post or transmit content that is defamatory, obscene, or otherwise unlawful
• Scrape, crawl, or otherwise extract data from CREW in bulk
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or access CREW's source code
• Circumvent or disable any security feature of the app
• Create multiple accounts to evade a ban or suspension
• Solicit personal information (passwords, financial information) from other users
• Meet with another user in person against their expressed wishes or without consent

6. Your Content

"Your Content" means photos, bio text, messages, vouches, and any other material you submit to CREW.

You own your content. By submitting content to CREW, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to store, display, and transmit that content within the CREW platform for the purpose of operating the Service. We do not claim ownership of your content, and we do not use it for advertising.

You represent and warrant that you have the right to submit all content you post, and that your content does not infringe on the intellectual property or privacy rights of any third party.

We reserve the right to remove any content that violates these Terms or that we determine, in our sole discretion, is harmful to the community.

7. Safety

CREW's vouch system is designed to add a layer of trust and accountability to online dating. However, we cannot guarantee the accuracy of any vouch or the safety of any in-person meeting. You are solely responsible for exercising good judgment when communicating with and meeting people you connect with through CREW.

Always meet in a public place first. Tell a friend where you're going. Trust your instincts. If another user makes you feel unsafe or acts inappropriately, report them immediately using the in-app reporting tools or by emailing crewappofficial@gmail.com.

8. Prohibited Content

The following content is strictly prohibited on CREW:

• Nudity or sexually explicit material in profile photos or vouches
• Hate speech targeting race, ethnicity, religion, gender, sexual orientation, disability, or national origin
• Content that promotes or glorifies violence or self-harm
• Photos or information of minors in a romantic or sexual context
• Content that reveals another person's private information without their consent ("doxxing")

9. Termination

You may delete your account at any time from within the app (My Profile → Sign Out → Delete Account).

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time, with or without notice, if we believe you have violated these Terms, harmed another user, or if required by law. Accounts terminated for serious violations (harassment, minors' safety) are permanently banned and may not be recreated.

10. Disclaimer of Warranties

CREW is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses or other harmful components. We do not warrant the accuracy of any vouch or user-provided information.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, CREW and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including without limitation loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising out of or in connection with your use of the Service or any in-person meetings arranged through the Service.

Our total liability to you for any claim arising under these Terms shall not exceed the greater of (a) the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim, or (b) $100 USD.

12. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless CREW and its operators from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including reasonable attorney's fees) arising out of your use of the Service, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any rights of another user or third party.

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Kentucky, United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any dispute arising from these Terms shall be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Fayette County, Kentucky, and you consent to the personal jurisdiction of those courts.

14. Entire Agreement

These Terms and our Privacy Policy constitute the entire agreement between you and CREW with respect to the Service and supersede all prior agreements and understandings. If any provision of these Terms is found invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full force.
